Michael Rosen – Finding the Right Eye Wear

The father-son team evolved the former Scarsdale Eye Care into what is today known as the Eye Gallery of Scarsdale. Dr. Jay Rosen initially established Scarsdale Eye Care in 1979. It started out as just a small optometry clinic in the center of downtown Scarsdale, New York. The company was built on the ideals of exceptional personal care and customer service, which is why this small practice would quickly grow into what it is now today. In 1998, Dr. Michael Rosen decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and joined the optometry practice. Only a few years later the duo decided that it was time to expand in order to meet the needs of their growing client list. Now each and every patient receives comprehensive eye examinations, which include, eye disease detection and treatment, extensive collection of top quality eyewear to choose from, that are effective and stylish. The eyewear collection at The Eye Gallery of Scarsdale specifically consists of around 29 different designer frames, including such high-end brands as Barton Perriera, Thierry Lasry, Salt Optics, Dior, Celine and Chanel, providing their clients with a ton of options.

Finding the right eye wear can often be challenging especially in a place like the Eye Gallery of Scarsdale, simply because there are just too many options to choose from. What can make this process easier is by considering a few things such as your face shape, skin tone, comfort, and so forth. The thing is every one wants to find a pair of glasses that makes them looks good and that are flattering. The three points to consider when determining the right eye wear for you are that the glasses you choose should highlight your best feature, the shape of the frame should be the opposite of your face shape, and finally the size of the frame needs to fit the size of your face.

The main face shapes are: oval, base-up triangle, oblong, square, diamond, and round. So remember the pair of glasses that will be most flattering for your face shape, is the pair that will have a frame that is the opposite of the shape of your face. For example if you have a round face, you would want to choose frames that are squared and have straight lines because if you choose round frames you will just make your face appear wider. Choosing the right frame shape is probably the most important aspect to consider, because the wrong shape can end up accentuating things that you do not want to accentuate.
